<description><![CDATA[ The Woodstock Slammers <b>(41-5-0-1)</b> defeated the Dieppe Commandos <b>(21-24-2-2)</b> <b>5-3</b> Friday night in Woodstock.

Robert Visca led the Slammers with 3 goals and 1 assist while Bradley Greene added 1 goal and 2 assists.

Danny Chiasson (unassisted) opened the scoring 11 seconds into the game to give the Commandos an early 1-0 lead. Ryan Langan (powerplay) scored at 4:51 to extend the lead to 2-0. Zack Cahill scored 19 seconds later at 5:10 to increase the lead to 3-0. Greene scored 13 seconds after that at 5:23 to get the Slammers on the scoreboard at 3-1. Visca scored at 8:23 to cut the lead to 3-2 after the first period. Evan Carmody scored at 6:38 to even the score at 3-3 after the second period. Visca (game winner, second goal of game) scored at 3:42 to give the Slammers the lead at 4-3. Visca (empty net, third goal of game) rounded out the scoring at 18:51.

Woodstock went 0 for 3 on the powerplay while Dieppe went 1 for 5.

Sam Renault stopped 21 of 24 shots for the win while Jonathan Waye stopped 43 of 47 shots in the loss. ]]></description>

Mathieu Pompei led the Mariners with 2 goals while Jared Hicks, Colin Campbell and Ryan Nickerson added 1 goal and 1 assist each.

Hicks opened the scoring at 1:18 to give the Mariners a 1-0 lead after the first period. Campbell (game winner) scored at 3:52 to extend the lead to 2-0. Kevin Reid scored at 10:43 to increase the lead to 3-0. Mitch Taylor (powerplay) scored at 12:14 to get the Crushers on the scoreboard at 3-1 after the second period. Pompei scored at 3:18 to make the score 4-1. Kraig Pasher scored at 5:10 to extend the lead to 5-1. Pompei (powerplay, second goal of game) scored at 6:22 to increase the lead to 6-1. Nickerson rounded out the scoring at 12:03.

Yarmouth went 1 for 8 on the powerplay while Pictou County went 1 for 4.

Philip Richer opened the scoring at 3:16 to give the Timberwolves a 1-0 lead. JJ Allison scored at 5:06 to tie the game at 1-1 after the first period. There was no second period scoring. Christopher Caissy (game winner) scored at 14:48 to give the Tigers the lead at 2-1. Dylan Desmeules (unassisted empty net) rounded out the scoring at 19:56.

Campbellton went 0 for 2 on the powerplay while Miramichi went 0 for 1.

Raphael Roy stopped 26 of 27 shots for the win while Tyler Piercy stopped 32 of 34 shots in the loss. ]]></description>

Travis Moore scored at 10:17 to get the Bearcats on the scoreboard at 2-1 after the second period. Travis Fernley scored at 2:49 to tie the game at 2-2. Daniel Perigo scored at 4:03 to give the Bearcats a 3-2 lead. Andrew Wigginton scored 33 seconds later at 4:36 to even the score at 3-3. Andrew Roski scored at 7:33 to regain the lead for Metro at 4-3. Colby Lanceleve scored at 8:31 to knot the game at 4-4. Adam Fraser scored 32 seconds later at 9:03 to retake the lead for Truro at 5-4. JP Harvey scored 54 seconds after that at 9:57 to deadlock the game at 5-5 and force extra time. With no scoring in the five minute overtime period, they went to a shootout to decide the winner. In the shootout, Kendall MacInnis (game winner) and Travis Moore scored for the Bearcats. Spencer Scott stopped both Metro shooters.

Greene scored at 9:20 to retake the lead for the Slammers at 3-2. Greene (game winner, second goal of game) scored 13 seconds later at 9:33 to extend the lead to 4-2. Lance Pridham (unassisted shorthanded) scored at 18:53 to cut the lead to 4-3 but that would be as close as Summerside would get.

Woodstock went 0 for 4 on the powerplay while Summerside also went 0 for 4.

Blaize Bridges opened the scoring at 14:20 to give the Western Capitals a 1-0 lead after the first period. Boudreau scored at 1:23 to tie the game at 1-1. Szmatula (powerplay) scored at 12:59 to regain the lead for Summerside at 2-1 after the second period. Crawley scored at 15:29 to even the score at 2-2.
