RSS & Twitter Feeds

The Maritime Junior Hockey League is pleased to bring to its fans up-to-the-minute news and scoring information through RSS and Twitter.

What is RSS?
RSS is a three letter abreviation that stands for Really Simple Syndication, Rich Site Summary or RDF Site Summary.  It is a XML-based system that allows users to subscribe to data feeds, such as themhl.ca Headlines, Kent Cup Playoffs and Game Scores using a news reader.

What is a news reader?
RSS/News Readers (also called Aggregators) download and display RSS feeds.    If you're using Mozilla's latest version of Thunderbird (email) or Firefox (web browser) or Apple's Safari, then you already have an RSS news reader.

Many free news readers can be downloaded and installed on your computer. 

How do I subscribe to themhl.ca's news feeds?
1.    Copy the following URL into your news reader:

http://www.themhl.ca/feed.rss

2.    Paste the URL into your reader's "subscribe" dialogue.

For Twitter, simply go to Twitter.com/themhl for News and scores.
