Aces Face Off Against Teachers to Raise Funds for Safe Grad

The St. Stephen Aces took on teachers from Charlotte County in the Aces vs. Teachers rematch Tuesday at the Garcelon Civic Center.

Shenanigans were plentiful – from SSHS vice principal Adam Harris chowing down on pizza at centre ice, to water fights, and even official Rob Dougherty grabbing a hockey stick to jump in the game.

The game was a fundraiser for St. Stephen High School safe grad, and raised $2,460.

Natalie Hart, staff advisor for safe grad, on behalf of the the grad class of 2018 thanked those who supported the event.

Hart said the money raised will go a long way to cover the cost of their Safe Grad at the Aquatic Centre, where they go for the night of swimming and games following their graduation ceremony.
