CJHL announces its 3 Stars of the Month for February – Fuelled by Gatorade
TORONTO – The Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) announced Thursday that forward Connor Paronuzzi (Steinbach Pistons/MJHL); defenceman Nathan Maloney (Calgary Canucks/AJHL) and forward Nathan Lévesque (Braves de Valleyfield/LHJAAAQ) have been named its February CJHL 3 Stars of the Month – Fuelled by Gatorade.
1st Star: Connor Paronuzzi, (F) Steinbach Pistons (MJHL) – A very productive month saw the 19-year-old Paronuzzi pile-up 25 points in 10 contests played, on nine goals and 16 assists.
Etching his name on the game sheet in each of his match-ups during the time frame, the Emeryville, Ont., product notched a pair of game-winning markers and helped set-up a trio of others.
Named the recipient of the MJHL’s Steve ‘Boomer’ Hawrysh Award, emblematic of league’s Most Valuable Player for the 2024-25 campaign, Paronuzzi heads into the final weekend of regular season action topping all skaters in scoring with 92 points, in 56 games, on 29 tallies and 63 helpers.
