Brunn commits to Marian University

The Valley Wildcats have announced that goaltender Aaron Brunn has committed to NCAA Division II hockey next season with the Marian University in Wisconsin.

The 21-year-old from Morden, Manitoba signed as a free agent with the Wildcats during the 2018-19 season after spending time with the Winkler Flyers of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League. In 23 games, Brunn posted a 2-19-1-0 record for a team that won just six games. he had a 5.29 goals against average and .887 save percentage. He averaged 38 saves per game, and made at least 40 saves in ten of his 23 games played. That includes games of 54 and 56 saves; both losses.

In 29 games during the 2019-20 season, Brunn posting a 6-16-2-0 record with a 4.05 goals against average and .897 save percentage during another tough season in Berwick. He was busy between the pipes once again, this time posting five games of at least 40 saves. His season-high was a 52 save performance during the second week of the season, again in a loss.
