The Summerside Western Capitals have announced that forward Cole Edwards has committed to Lake Head University for the 2021-22 season.
Summerside obtained the rights to the 20-year-old from Sydenham, Ontario in September. Edwards had spent the prior two seasons with the QMJHL’s Charlottetown Islanders where he had nineteen goals and eight assists in 108 games.
In 21 games with the Western Capitals, Edwards had ten goals and fifteen assists, placing him fourth in team scoring.
