The Truro Bearcats have announced that defenseman Jacob Evans has committed to the Bethel University Royals, an NCAA Division III school, for the 2020-21 season.
After two and a half seasons in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League, Evans was acquired by the Bearcats on November 30th. In 28 games in Truro, he scored twice and added ten assists (the highest points per game average of his career) in helping the team solidify its blueline.
The Truro Bearcats and Maritime Junior Hockey League congratulate Evans on his Junior A career and commitment to Bethel University.
