York University has announced that Summerside Western Capitals forward Thomas Lacombe has committed to the Lions for the 2022-22 season.
The 20-year-old from Boisbriand, Quebec joined the Western Capitals ahead of the 2021-22 season after spending three seasons with the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada of the QMJHL. He was acquired via trade in June 2021 with the Fredericton Red Wings.
In 26 games with Summerside so far in 2021-22, Lacombe has 19 goals and 23 assists. His 42 points are third in MHL scoring, and he sits third and fourth overall in goals and assists, respectively.
