The South Shore Lumberjacks have announced that forward Sam Brunton has committed to the State University of New York – Canton for 2022-23.
The 21-year-old from Dryden, Ontario spent the 2019-20 season with the MJHL’s Virden Oil Capitals before being acquired by South Shore before the 2020-21 season. Brunton tallied seven goals and seven assists in 32 games for South Shore that year.
In 2021-22, Brunton had eight goals and eight assists in 36 games. He was named a Player of the Week twice during the season.
