The Portage College Voyageurs, a member of the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC), have announced that forward Nolan MacDonald has committed to their program for the 2023-24 season.
The 20-year-old from Yarmouth spent parts of three seasons in the Maritime Junior Hockey League (MHL). He played two games for Yarmouth during the 2020-21 regular season and two more during the Canadian Tire Cup Playoff Round Robin. He started the 2021-22 season with the Mariners, registering one goal and two assists in fourteen games, before being dealt to Campbellton where he tallied one goal and one assist in 22 games. MacDonald had no points in six games during the Canadian Tire Cup Playoffs. He rejoined the Mariners this season, playing in five games.
