FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Truro, N.S. (March 10, 2026) – The Metalfab MHL Cup Playoffs are set to begin on Friday, March 13th on two fronts as the Eastlink North Division champion Grand Falls Rapids host the four-seed Chaleur Lightning at 7 p.m. at the E. & P. Sénéchal Centre, and the second-seed Truro Bearcats are home to their rivals from over Mount Thom, the three-seed Pictou County Weeks Crushers. The other two series will begin on Saturday as the regular season champion Summerside Western Capitals host the four-seed Amherst Ramblers and the two-seed West Kent Steamers host the three-seed and defending Metalfab MHL Cup champion Edmundston Blizzard.
