FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(Amherst, N.S.) – The Amherst Ramblers are proud to announce that captain Mark Corbett has committed to continue his hockey career with the UPEI Panthers.

Corbett, a native of Harbour Main, Newfoundland, has been a key part of the Ramblers organization since joining the club during the 2023-24 season. Over his time in Amherst, he established himself as one of the team’s most dependable leaders and offensive contributors.

Named captain ahead of the 2025-26 season, Corbett led by example both on and off the ice. During the 2025-26 campaign, the forward recorded 29 goals and 31 assists for 60 points in 49 games, including 8 game-winning goals, while also serving as one of the Maritime Hockey League’s top two-way forwards.

Corbett delivered several standout performances throughout his Ramblers career, including a natural hat trick in a road victory over the Truro Bearcats and earning MHL Forward of the Month honours during the 2025-26 season.

The entire Ramblers organization congratulates Mark and his family on this accomplishment and wishes him continued success with the Panthers.
