Ramblers part ways with Head Coach

Amherst Ramblers President Ron Lake has announced that they have parted ways with Head Coach Doug Doull.

“At this time the board decided it was time for a change at the head coach position,” said Ramblers president Ron Lake.

“We are hoping for a fresh start and a larger number of fans being able to be back in the Arena for the 2021-22 season. It’s been a hard last couple of seasons in dealing with COVID-19 and hope to have a great start in the 21-22 season, which starts September 30th”.

General Manager Jeff Leblanc, Scout John Davidson, and head scout Rick Melanson are prepared for the upcoming draft in a few weeks and we are moving forward. We hope to have a new coach in place by the draft but there is no timeline. We want to take our time and not rush into it.

A search for a new Head Coach has begun. All interested candidates can apply via email to: president.ramblers@gmail.com
