The University of Waterloo has announced that Fredericton Red Wings forward Cole Fraser has committed to the Warriors hockey program for 2022-23.

The 21-year-old from Quispamsis, N.B. was a Territorial Draft Pick by the Fredericton franchise, then located in St. Stephen, during the 2017 MHL Entry Draft. He spent three seasons in the QMJHL between Blainville-Boisbriand and Cape Breton before joining the Red Wings for the 2021-22 season. In Fredericton, Fraser had six goals and twelve assists in seventeen games. He added two goals and three assists in ten games during the Canadian Tire Cup Playoffs.
