Shea commits to UPEI Panthers

The Summerside D. Alex MacDonald Ford Western Capitals have announced that captain T.J. Shea is going to be playing 45 minutes up Highway 2 this fall with the UPEI Panthers.

In three seasons with Summerside, Shea tallied 83 goals and 125 assists for 208 points in just 122 career games. During the 2017-18 season, he won the league scoring title with 105 points in 48 games played and was named both an All-Star and MVP of the Maritime Junior Hockey League. This past summer, Shea was named Hockey PEI Male Player of the Year. In 2016-17, he was voted to the Rookie All-Star team.
