The South Shore Lumberjacks have announced that forward Sulivan Shortreed has committed to Buffalo State College, an NCAA Division III, for the 2021-22 season.
The 21-year-old from Fort Frances, Ontario was acquired from the Winkler Flyers of the MJHL in late February. In ten games with the Lumberjacks, Shortreed picked up three assists. During six games of the Canadian Tire Cup Playoff Round Robin, he had one goal and one assist. Shortreed had 47 goals and 33 assists in 110 games over three seasons with Winkler.
The MHL congratulates Shortreed on his post-secondary commitment.
