Miramichi Timberwolves Junior A Hockey Club Inc.
Miramichi Timberwolves have hired Miramichi native Kory Baker as their new General Manager and Head Coach. Baker will take over immediately in preparation for two road games this weekend in Edmundston and Amherst.
Baker had 75 points in 114 games in the QMJHL with Moncton and Val D’Or including a President Cup championship in 2001. Baker played professional hockey in the ECHL, SPHL, ACHL and WHA2 before heading overseas to play in Denmark, Sweden and Finland.
“Our organization is excited to have Kory return to Miramichi and lead our team. We are committed to winning and are lucky to learn from Kory’s professional experience. He knows what it takes on and off the ice.” said Timberwolves President Nathan Dunnett.
Miramichi is currently 4-1-1 for second in North Division. Baker takes over a busy Timberwolves team with six more games in October including the next home game on October 20th versus Fredericton.
