Timberwolves’ Duhamel commits to Nipissing University

Nipissing University has announced that Miramichi Timberwolves forward Jeremy Duhamel has committed to their program for 2024-25.

The 21-year-old from Cowansville, Quebec spent the past two seasons with Miramichi and was an iron man, playing all 104 regular season games. In 2022-23, Duhamel was tenth in league scoring with 72 points. He was tied for the fourth-most goals in the MHL with 38. He was twice named to the Eastlink North team of the Week. In the Metalfab MHL Cup Playoffs, Duhamel had six goals and five assists in just six games for Miramichi which tied him with teammate Jacob Santerre for a league-best 1.83 points per game in the post-season.

Duhamel was third in league scoring in 2023-24 with 23 goals and 35 assists. He was named to the Eastlink North team of the Week once last season. In the Metfal MHL Cup Playoffs, Duhamel had five goals and six assists in fifteen games to help Miramichi capture its first-ever league title.
