The Miramichi Timberwolves have been busy on and off the ice, and recently took part in the 2019 Wishmaker Walk.
Make-a-Wish Canada, an amalgamation of the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada and Make-a-Wish Foundation of Canada, gathers to raise awareness to grant the wishes of sick kids. The average cost of granting a wish for children is approximately $10,000 and this is their major fundraiser.
The Timberwolves take part each year and help escort the group through the town along with members of the Miramichi Police and Miramichi Fire Department, to name a few.
