The Yarmouth Mariners have announced that defenseman Nash Wood has committed to Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota for 2020-21. The 20-year-old from Buford, GA was acquired by the Mariners on October 13th, 2019 from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the NAHL.
In 34 games with the Mariners, Wood posted one goal and seven assists as Yarmouth clinched another Eastlink South title and prepare to defend their Canadian Tire Cup Championship.
The Maritime Junior Hockey League and Yarmouth Mariners congratulate Wood on his commitment to the NCAA Division III school.
