Truro, N.S. – Maritime Hockey League teams are joining the 121 other member clubs of the Canadian Junior Hockey League in unveiling a special banner in tribute of the Humboldt Broncos.
As announced earlier this month, ceremonies were scheduled prior to each MHL team’s home opener. The Campbellton Tigers are the last team to hold this special tribute, on October 5th.
The banner, designed by Mr. Tyler Hutchinson of Moose Jaw, Sask., is in honour and remembrance of all those involved in the tragic events of April 6, 2018.
In addition to the banner, decals will be worn on the helmets of all players within the CJHL this season.
Below is a gallery of the banner in rinks across the MHL.
