Bearcats’ Kodak commits to Wilfrid Laurier University

The Truro Bearcats have announced that captain Holden Kodak has committed to Wilfrid Laurier University for next season.

The 21-year-old from Coverdale, B.C. was acquired from the BCHL’s West Kelowna Warriors before the 2020-21 season. In his first year with Truro, Kodak had seven goals and seventeen assists in 32 games. He added one goal and three assists in five games during the Canadian Tire Cup Round Robin.

He was named captain of the Bearcats for the 2021-22 season and finished third in team scoring with thirteen goals and nineteen assists in 36 games. Kodak finished fourth in playoff scoring in helping lead Truro to the Canadian Tire Cup Final with six goals and nine assists in seventeen games. He was named one of the MHL’s Players of the Week twice.
