Bearcats’ Nadeau commits to Concordia

The Truro Bearcats have announced that captain Alex Nadeau has committed to the Concordia Stingers for the 2024-25 season.

The 20-year-old from Victoriaville, Quebec spent two seasons with the Victoriaville Tigres of the QMJHL before this season where he recorded nine goals and 20 assists in 123 games.

With one week left in the season, Nadeau has tallied 29 goals and 42 assists in 39 games to sit seventh in league scoring. Nadeau’s eleven powerplay goals sit tied for second-most in the MHL with Miramichi’s Ludovic Dufort. He’s been named to the Eastlink South Team of the Week twice in 2023-24 and was an Honourable Mention for Top Forward in January.

The MHL congratulates Nadeau on his post-secondary commitment.
