Notes

    • Fredericton captured the Eastlink North banner last season, defeating Campbellton in a best-of-five series before sweeping Miramichi in a best-of-three.
    • Campbellton were runners up for the Canadian Tire Cup the last time it was competed for in 2018-19, being swept by the Yarmouth Mariners in the Finals.
    • Olivier Leclair was key to Campbellton securing the 2nd-seed in the Eastlink North. He was named the Gongshow Top Goaltender in March, going a perfect 7-0-0-0 with a 2.65 goals against average and a .925 save percentage. Mathias Savoie was a workhorse for Fredericton, playing the third-most minutes of any goaltender in the MHL this season and saw action in 30 of the team’s 36 games.
    • Both teams were well represented with their rookies. Fredericton had four of the top 15 rookie scoring, led by Slava Melikov who finished second on that list with 20 goals and 18 assists in 36 games. Campbellton had three players in the top ten, with Justin David and Alexandre David each posting 27 points.
    • Three of the top seven scoring defensemen play for the Tigers with a combined 78 points between them.
    • Fredericton’s home penalty killing percentage is 81.7%, which places them around the middle of the pack, However, they had a league-worst 68.7% penalty kill on the road. Campbellton’s home powerplay percentage was second-best in the league at 31.9%.
