The Eastlink North finished a busy day at the Eastern Canada Cup with a 3-0 loss to the OJHL Hawerchuk squad in Trenton, ON.

The OJHL side opened the scoring just 2:29 into the 1st period, maintaining that lead into the intermission. Shots were nine apiece in the 1st period.

The OJHL doubled their lead at 2:11 of the 2nd period and then made it 3-0 at 4:52. The North were unable to take advantage of four powerplays in the game and break the shutout. Edmundston’s Nicholas Sheehan got the start in goal for the North, making 16 saves in the game.
