Former Lumberjack Tsukamoto commits to Royal Military College

The Royal Military College has announced that former South Shore Lumberjacks forward Christian Tsukamoto has committed to the Paladins for the 2019-20 season.

The 21-year-old from Ajax, Ontario spent three seasons with the Lumberjacks. In his rookie year of 2016-17, Tsukamoto finished fourth in team scoring with eight goals and 26 assists in 49 games.

He would up his goal production the following season to 17 in 47 games, to go along with 15 assists, to help South Shore finish second in the Eastlink South Division and make the playoffs. His three goals and eight assists in twelve post-season games were tied for second on the Lumberjacks as they advanced to the South Division Final.

Tsukamoto played all 50 regular season games in 2018-19, posting 24 goals and 34 assists to finish second on the Lumberjacks as the team once again made the playoffs. He had seven goals and eight assists in 13 playoff games as South Shore once again played in the Division Final.
