Lanceleve commits to SUNY – Canton

The Yarmouth Mariners have announced that Carson Lanceleve has committed to State University of New York at Canton, an NCAA Division III school, for the 2021-22 season.

The 20-year-old forward from Stewiacke, N.S. was a Territorial selection of the Truro Bearcats in the 2017 MHL Entry Draft. He appeared in just two games with the Bearcats in 2017-18 before joining the team full-time in 2018-19, where he posted nine goals and eighteen assists in 47 games with the club. In four playoff games that season he tallied one goal and an assist.

He would play another 29 games with the club in 2019-20, with six goals, seventeen assists, and just ten penalty minutes. Lanceleve was traded to the Mariners on January 6th, 2020, where he posted six goals, nine assists, and sixteen penalty minutes in 18 games.

So far in 2020-21, Lanceleve has eleven goals and twelve assists in 21 games with Yarmouth.
