Mariners’ Stuckless commits to Plymouth State University

The Yarmouth Mariners have announced that forward Andrew Stuckless has committed to Plymouth State University, an NCAA Division III program.

The rights to the 20-year-old from Conception Bay South, Newfoundland and his brother Ethan were obtained by the Grand Falls Rapids in February 2021 in a deal with the Notre Dame Hounds of the SJHL. Andrew played eight games with the Rapidsw in 2020-21, registering two assists. The Yarmouth Mariners acquired him in November 2021. Stuckless had three goals and eight assists in eleven games in 2021-22 for the Mariners, as well as one goal in six playoff games.

In 2022-23, he had eleven goals and 21 assists in playing all 52 regular season games. Stuckless was named to the Eastlink South’s Team of the Week once during the season. In Yarmouth’s run to become Metalfab MHL Cup champions, Stuckless had five goals and three assists in twelve games.

The MHL congratulates Stuckless on his post-secondary commitment.
