Notes
- This is a rematch of last season’s Eastlink South Final, where Pictou County swept Truro in four games. Three of the four were decided by just one goal. The Weeks Crushers went on to lose in the Metalfab MHL Cup Final to Edmundston in four games. Truro is 6-3 all-time in playoff series against Pictou County.
- Six of the eight meetings this season were decided by two or fewer goals, and two extended past regulation. Truro went 3-1-0-0 at home against Pictou County, while the Weeks Crushers were 2-2-0-0 against the Bearcats at the Pictou County Wellness Centre. Overall, both teams were 19-5-1-1 at home this season.
- Truro allowed the fewest goals this season at 145, but Pictou County was second at 167. Only Summerside allowed fewer shots per game (29.63) than the Bearcats (30.23) and Weeks Crushers (30.29)
- The Bearcats had the fewest penalty minutes in the league at 656, while Pictou County was 8th at 956. Truro was shorthanded 45 fewer times than the Weeks Crushers. They each had 197 powerplays over the course of the season, but Truro scored seventeen more goals (53 to 36) than Pictou County.

- Goaltenders George Gallant and Yianii Karkoulas posted similar numbers in the regular season for Pictou County. Gallant, after being acquired from Summerside, went 2-3-0-0 with a 2.97 goals against average and an .894 save percentage, compared to a 22-9-4-0 record for Karkoulas with a 3.08 goals against average and a .901 save percentage with one shutout. The Bearcats had a 1A/1B in goal this season. Louca Connolly went 19-5-2-1, leading the MHL with a 2.69 goals against average to go with a .908 save percentage, and two shutouts. 16-year-old Sam Berthiaume was just shy of being a qualified goaltender for league leaders, but went 12-4-0-0 with a 2.29 goals against average and a .927 save percentage with two shutouts.
