    • The Mariners and Crushers haven’t met in the playoffs since the Bent Division Final in 2010-11, which was won by Pictou County in six games before they fell to Summerside in the league final. Before that, it was the 2007-08 Bent Division Final, with Yarmouth getting the win in five games and beating Woodstock in the league final.
    • Yarmouth dominated the regular season matchups with Pictou County, outscoring the Crushers 40-22 in winning all eight meetings including three times in the final week.
    • The Crushers underperformed on the powerplay against Yarmouth with a 16.7% conversion rate compared to their season percentage of 23.9%. Yarmouth had a 25.0% powerplay percentage against Pictou County, going 9 for 36.
    • Pictou County will have to try and solve the two-headed monster in goal of Keegan Warren and Joey Lovullo, who allowed just 104 goals in 45 games played which works out to 2.31 goals per game. Warren led the league with a 2.19 goals against average and Lovullo was 3rd at 2.64. Jeremy Robar and Kenzie MacPhail had goals against averages of 4.11 and 4.29, respectively, for the Crushers.
    • Yarmouth were a league-best 32-2-0-0 when scoring first. Their goal differential of +29 in the 1st period was second only to Edmundston (+30).
    • The Mariners led the league in shots for (40.29) and against per game (25.77). The Crushers were around 32 shots for and against per game.
    • Three of Pictou County’s young players will be counted on to do some of the scoring in this series as Ben Mercer, Logan O’Neil, and Riley Seymour all finished in the top six in rookie scoring. Mercer led all rookies with 54 points and his 21 goals trailed only O’Neil who had 24.
