The Salvation Army’s Christmas Kettle Campaign is underway in cities and towns across Canada, raising money to support needs in local communities. A number of Maritime Hockey League players donate their time to this important activity help a worthy cause.
A tradition in Truro stretching back a decade, Bearcats players handle the Kettles at the Truro Mall and Wal-Mart from noon to 8 pm each Tuesday in December.
In Miramichi (pictured below), five groups of players each volunteered a few hours of their time to the kettle.
