Ramblers release Head Coach Ryan Salvis

The Amherst CIBC Wood Gundy Ramblers have released head coach Ryan Salvis.

The Moncton, NB native was hired by the Ramblers at the start of the 2021-22 season, leading the team to the 2021-22 MHL playoffs in his first season with the Ramblers, but missed the playoffs in his second season. In his two seasons with the team, Salvis led the Ramblers to a 46-46-8-4 record.

“The board has decided to go in a different direction and, unfortunately, it happened but it’s a part of hockey.” Said Ramblers President Ron Lake.

The Ramblers would like to thank Ryan for his dedication to the team and organization over his time in Amherst and wish him well in the future.

The Ramblers are now accepting applications to fill the Head Coach/General Manager position, applications can be sent to the team by email to president.ramblers@gmail.com
