Rapids’ Brennan commits to Nichols College

The Grand Falls Rapids have announced that forward Nicholas Brennan has committed to Nichols College, a Division III program, in Dudley, Massachusetts.

The 20-year-old from Grafton, N.B. was selected in the 7th Round, 107th overall, by the Edmundston Blizzard in the 2020 MHL Entry Draft. Brennan played one game for the Blizzard in the 2020-21 season. He was part of a three-team deal ahead of the 2021-22 season that saw him dealt to Campbellton. Brennan spent that season playing in the United States, but his MHL rights were acquired by the Rapids at the trade deadline.

After a year in the CCHL, Brennan suited up for Grand Falls to start the 2023-24 season. In 45 games, he had ten goals and sixteen assists. In 2024-25, he had thirteen goals and sixteen assists in 50 games. He was also named once to the Eastlink North Team of the Week.

The MHL congratulates Brennan on his post-secondary commitment.
