Stuckless commits to Plymouth State

The Grand Falls Rapids have announced that Ethan Stuckless has committed to the Plymouth State Panthers, an NCAA Division III school.

The 20-year-old from Conception Bay South, Newfoundland was drafted in the 1st Round, 3rd overall, in the 2018 MHL Entry Draft by the St. Stephen Aces. In his rookie season of 2018-19, Stuckless had ten goals and six assists in 23 games, as well as two assists in four games during the Canadian Tire Cup Playoffs. After the team moved to Fredericton, Stuckless played 50 games in 2019-20 finished tied for second in team scoring with 18 goals and 18 assists.

Just before the start of the 20200-21 season, Stuckless was dealt to Notre Dame of the SJHL. He wouldn’t be gone from the MHL long, however, as the Grand Falls Rapids acquired Ethan and his brother Andrew in a late-February trade with Notre Dame. In eight games with the Rapids, Stuckless had three goals and two assists.

The MHL congratulates Stuckless on his post-secondary commitment.
