Summerside 10th, Miramichi 14th, West Kent an Honourable Mention in CJHL rankings

Flin Flon Bombers (SJHL) enter November still No. 1 in CJHL rankings

TORONTO – Heading into the first installment of the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) Top 20 Rankings, for November, the Flin Flon Bombers (SJHL) remain No. 1 in the latest listings, released Monday.

The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) front-runners are 9-1 in their past 10 outings and boast a solid 14-1-1-0 overall record to maintain top spot this week.

Another SJHL side, in the Humboldt Broncos, come in at No. 2 in the 122-team CJHL.

Humboldt have still yet to lose in regulation, so far this season, as the Broncos sport a mark of 12-0-2-1, while picking up 27 of a possible 30 points to date.

Moving to No. 3 nationally in the rankings, which are compiled by an independent scouting service, are the Winkler Flyers (MJHL).

Currently topping the Manitoba Junior Hockey League in terms of winning percentage at .893, Winkler enters play this week having gone 12-1-0-1 on the campaign.

Slotted No. 4 this week are the Collingwood Blues (OJHL).

The Blues presently pace the 24-team Ontario Junior Hockey League with an overall record of 18-3-0-0.

Round out the Top 5 are the Brooks Bandits (AJHL).

Brooks has started the Alberta Junior Hockey League season, having gone 17-3-0-0, while only having allowed an AJHL-low 35 goals-against.
