Summerside’s Roberts to represent MHL at CJHL Prospects Game

Summerside Western Capitals forward Cameron Roberts will hit the ice at Pason Centennial Arena in Okotoks, Alberta tonight for the CJHL Prospects Game. The 18-year-old from Kensington, P.E.I. is tied for eighth in Maritime Hockey League scoring with 41 points in 34 games. His 29 assists are tied for the fourth most in the league, to go along with 12 goals.

Roberts is the lone player from the MHL to be selected to the CJHL Prospects Game. Players were chosen through the efforts of NHL Central Scouting and are currently among the top 40 CJHL prospects heading into the 2019 NHL Draft in Vancouver. The game is a partnership through the Canadian Junior Hockey League, the National Hockey League, and Hockey Canada, in conjunction with NHL Central Scouting.

The CJHL Prospects Game will be streamed live online via HockeyTV.com, and free on YouTube (see below), with warmups at 10 p.m. Atlantic Time and the game starting at 10:30 p.m.
