The University of Alberta Augustana Vikings have announced that Campbellton Tigers forward Alexi Parent has committed to their program for 2026-27.

The 20-year-old from Dieppe, N.B. joined the Yarmouth Mariners for the 2024-25 season and tallied four goals and four assists in 47 games. He was traded to the Valley Wildcats ahead of the 2025 MHL Entry Draft. He played five games in 2025-26 for the Wildcats, collecting one assist. Before the end of September, Parent was again on the move, this time to Campbellton. With the Tigers, he finished fifth on the team in scoring, with fifteen goals and 21 assists in 45 games.
