The Campbellton Tigers have announced that Owen Underhill has committed to the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) for next season.
The forward from Blackville, N.B. was obtained by the West Kent Steamers from the Portage Terriers of the MJHL prior to the 2023-24 trade deadline. In 21 games with the Steamers, Underhill had nine goals and seven assists, including two assists in five playoff games.
He was involved in a pair of trades before the 2024-25 season, heading to Valley and then to Campbellton before the start of the regular season. Underhill finished fourth on the Tigers in scoring with 41 points in 52 games. His 24 goals were second on the team to go with seventeen assists. Underhill was second in team scoring during the Metalfab MHL Cup Playoffs with six goals and four assists for ten points in ten games.
