The West Kent Steamers are pleased to announce the signing of Justin Blackmore as the team’s General Manager.
Born and raised in Miramichi, New Brunswick, Justin is the current New Brunswick scout for QMJHL Central Scouting and was previously a scout for the Campbellton Tigers and the South Shore Lumberjacks. In the past, he was also a board member and coach for the Moncton Minor Hockey Association. He will be one of the youngest General Managers in the history of the Maritime Junior Hockey League and will overlook the scouting staff as the Head Scout of the Steamers.
Outside of hockey, Justin works in HR for the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and is currently completing his master’s degree at the Université de Moncton. He currently resides in Moncton with his fiancée Chelsey.

Les West Kent Steamers ont le plaisir d’annoncer la signature de Justin Blackmore en tant que directeur général de l’équipe.
Né et élevé à Miramichi, au Nouveau-Brunswick, Justin est l’actuel dépisteur du Nouveau-Brunswick pour le Centre de soutien au recrutement (CSR) de la LHJMQ et a déjà été dépisteur pour les Tigres de Campbellton et les Lumberjacks de South Shore. Dans le passé, il a également été membre du conseil d’administration et entraîneur de l’Association du hockey mineur de Moncton. Il sera l’un des plus jeunes directeurs généraux de l’histoire de la Ligue de hockey junior des Maritimes et supervisera le personnel de dépisteurs en tant que dépisteur en chef des Steamers.
En dehors du hockey, Justin travaille dans les ressources humaines pour l’Agence canadienne d’inspection des aliments et termine actuellement sa maîtrise à l’Université de Moncton. Il habite à Moncton avec sa fiancée Chelsey.
