Nous savions qu’ils allaient être un peu plus gros et un peu plus forts que nous, et que leur jeu serait axé sur les dégagements en vue d’un échec avant en zone offensive, mais nous savions que nous pourrions contrer ça avec notre vitesse. »

« La raison pour laquelle nous avons amené Justin [Robinson] ici à la date limite, c’était pour qu’il puisse jouer dans une situation comme celle-ci, et il a fait le travail. Il a trois ans d’expérience dans le junior majeur; c’est un bon gardien, alors il était notre choix. Je suis satisfait de son match, il a été impressionnant. Il n’avait pas joué depuis environ un mois, mais il travaille tous les jours, il se pousse; tout est une question de mémoire musculaire, et une fois qu’il est devant le filet, il fait le travail.
« Il fallait bien qu’on gagne un match à un moment donné, et c’est ce soir qu’on a trouvé le moyen de le faire. Je trouvais que nous avions dominé [Niverville] au premier match et qu’on méritait un meilleur sort, mais ce n’est pas arrivé. Ce soir, nous étions plus affamés, et nous avons simplement fait ce qu’il fallait faire. »
