On Saturday, February 25th the Red Wings will face the Summerside Western Capitals at the Grant Harvey Centre in Fredericton on Buster Harvey Night. The Red Wings will honour Fred “Buster” Harvey and his family during an evening dedicated to the fight against cancer. Opening ceremonies will feature a tribute video to Buster and those fighting cancer. The Red Wings will wear ceremonial jerseys specifically designed for the game. They feature the number 27, worn by Buster Harvey while a member of the Detroit Red Wings alongside his best friend Danny Grant. Both Harvey and Grant passed away due to cancer. Their namesakes live on at the arena so appropriately named after both of them, the Grant Harvey Center, where the Wings call home.
