The 2018 recipient of the Will Sutherland Award was Cameron MacLeod, pictured receiving the Award from Jody Sutherland at the Truro Bearcat Closing Banquet. The award goes to a Bearcat who demonstrates excellence in hockey skill, is a last year junior and is pursuing his education at an AUS or CIS University. Previous recipients were Ryan Moore, David Mosher, Jacob Fancy and Jason Rioux.
Will Sutherland was a strong supporter of the Truro Junior A Bearcats, and as a director and advisor, was instrumental in setting up the Education Fund for the Bearcat Program.
