The Weeks Crushers have been out and about the last few weeks taking part in some very important Community events in Pictou County.
On September 14th, the team took part in the 14th annual Carnival of Rainbows at North Nova Education Centre. The event is held in memory of Molly Elizabeth MacIvor, who passed away in 2004 as a result of a motor vehicle accident. There were activities and games for kids of all ages, and donations at the event go to the IWK and a number of causes in Pictou County.
The following week, on September 21st, the Crushers got a major workout as they pulled a fire truck as part of the United Way Pull for Change, hosted by the United Way of Pictou County.
