MHL Showcase gets underway Monday

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Truro, Nova Scotia (October 8, 2018) – The first day of the Maritime Hockey League Showcase begins today at the Pictou County Wellness Centre. All twelve teams are in action, with the first of six games beginning at 1 pm. The games are two 25-minute periods and count in the regular season standings. There are another six matchups tomorrow, also beginning at 1 pm.

Single day passes are available at $12 for adults, $8 for students, and $5 for children eight to twelve years of age. Two day passes are also available at a price of $20 for adults, $15 for students, and $8 for children eight to twelve years of age.

Showcase games will be streamed live on HockeyTV.com, with MHL broadcasters Michael Petter and Alex Theriault (Pictou County), Mike Barkhouse (South Shore), Matthew Little (Valley), and James Faulkner (Truro) calling the action.
