Miramichi Timberwolves Dinner & Auction held Saturday

The Miramichi Timberwolves held their annual Dinner & Auction on Saturday, which was the first time the event took place since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Former NHLer Georges Laroque was invited as the guest speaker. Georges was drafted and played for Edmonton, then for Pittsburgh, Montreal, and Phoenix over 14 seasons. He spoke to the hundreds in attendance about his dedication to making the NHL, against all odds, starting at age 7.
