Ramblers’ Reyers commits to University of Waterloo

The Amherst Ramblers have announced that forward Jaden Reyers has committed to the University of Waterloo for next season.

The 20-year-old from London, Ontario was acquired by the Ramblers at the 2023-24 trade deadline after he spent the first part of the season with the QMJHL’s Gatineau Olympiques. Reyers tallied five goals and nineteen assists in eighteen games to close out the regular season. In the Metalfab MHL Cup Playoffs, he finished second on the team in scoring with twelve points (seven goals and five assists) in twelve games as the Ramblers fell in the Eastlink South Division Final.

In 2024-25, Reyers sits second on the team in scoring, and eighth overall, with 69 points in 45 games as the season is winding down. He started the season with a bang, scoring five goals in a 6-5 overtime win over West Kent on September 14th. That remains the most goals scored in one game by any player this season. Reyers has been named to the Eastlink South Team of the Week twice this season.

The MHL congratulates Reyers on his post-secondary commitment.
