The Grand Falls Rapids have announced that defenceman Zach Smith has committed to Southern New Hampshire University, and NCAA Division III school in the Northeast 10 Conference.
The 20-year-old from Pembroke, Massachusetts entered the MHL in 2021-22 with the Truro Bearcats where he tallied one goal and four assists in 22 games. Smith was traded to Grand Falls in early December and played fifteen games for the Rapids.
The MHL congratulates Smith on his post-secondary commitment.
