Rapids’ Yannic Bastarache commits to Université de Moncton

The Grand Falls Rapids are pleased to announce the signing of Yannic Bastarache by the University of Moncton Blue Eagles of the Atlantic University Sport hockey league (AUS).

As team captain of the Rapids during the 2022-2023 season, Bastarache led the team with 79 points and was named the MHL Character Player of the Year.

A native of Bouctouche NB, Bastarache played in 88 games over two seasons with Grand Falls, compiling a record of 49 goals and 71 assists for 120 points.

The Blue Eagles are excited by the arrival of their new player:

YANNIC BASTARACHE JOINS THE BLUE EAGLES OF MONCTON UNIVERSITY

The Grand Falls Rapids are pleased to announce the signing of forward Yannic Bastarache with the Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus, members of the Atlantic university hockey circuit.

As captain of the Rapides during the 2022-2023 season, Bastarache finished first on his team with 79 points, while being named by the MHL as the Player with the greatest determination.

Originally from Bouctouche, New Brunswick, Bastarache played 88 games in two seasons with the Grand Falls team, compiling a record of 49 goals and 71 assists for a total of 120 points.

The Aigles Bleus are delighted to count on the presence of their new acquisition:
