The St. Stephen Aces and Summerside Western Capitals joined in on the fun in the spirit of the holiday season this weekend with Teddy Bear Tosses of their own.
Summerside held their event on Saturday, December 8th at Credit Union Place against the Campbellton Tigers. Kayden Peck scored the goal that led the teddy bears to be thrown on the ice, with assists to Conor MacEachern and Kyle Nichol, at 14:00 of the 1st period.
On Sunday, the Aces followed suit with a Teddy Bear Toss at the Garcelon Civic Centre against the Miramichi Timberwolves. Michael Waugh scored the all-important goal for the Aces, with an assist to Adam Zimmermann, at 4:10 of the 1st period.
