Flin Flon Bombers wrapping up November as No. 1 in CJHL rankings – Fuelled by Gatorade

TORONTO – The Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) announced Monday its final Top 20 Rankings – Fuelled by Gatorade, for November, and the Flin Flon Bombers (SJHL) will wrap-up the month, just as they started it, No. 1 overall.

Despite a narrow, low-scoring overtime setback, in one of their three road games over the weekend, the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League leaders boast a 7-0-1-0 record in November and only have one defeat in regulation to date, while having gone 20-1-2-0 overall in 23 outings.

Slotted No. 2 in the listings, which are compiled each week, by an independent scouting service, are the defending national champion Brooks Bandits (AJHL).

Brooks tops the table in the Alberta Junior Hockey League, reeling off 10 straight wins, while sporting a 25-3-0-0 mark so far this season.

At. No. 3 in the 122-team CJHL sit the Collingwood Blues (OJHL).

Winners of six in succession in Ontario Junior Hockey League competition, Collingwood have improved to 24-3-0-0 to maintain their solid run on the season.

Rolling right along at No. 4 are the Steinbach Pistons (MJHL).

Continuing to set the pace in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League, the Pistons have gone 19-2-1-0 to date, including having come away victorious in each of their previous 10 match-ups.

Meanwhile the Trenton Golden Hawks (OJHL) round out the Top 5 this week.

Despite having a lengthy winning streak snapped in OT on Sunday, the Golden Hawks are still soaring with a solid 22-4-0-1 start to their year.
